The Penguin Fringe is a series of free performance events held alongside the LitFest. Performers come from local schools, theatre groups, poetry collectives and more to entertain festivalgoers with their talents.

The 2013 Penguin Fringe features plays, music, dancing, drumming, poetry, improv... the list goes on, with more than 40 events lined up. Starting at 6pm on Thursday 7 March and continuing throughout the weekend, there will always be something to see around the Waterfront level of the InterContinental Hotel.
